    May 2025   Greeting Lake Friends!

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to open up our camp for the season. I love everything about it, but especially the smell of the camp when I first open up the door and take a step inside. It brings back fond memories of family, friends, and happy days. I love putting in the dock- well, maybe not the part of getting into the cold water to get it set, but I so enjoy when the work is done, getting a few chairs out, and sitting out above the water. Eventually the grandchildren will have helped enough and will be ready to get out the nets and see what they can find under the surface of the water. I feel quite fortunate in these moments and look forward to warm weather and good times ahead. I hope you do as well.
