Fifth Annual History night at Lake Hortonia

Where:  Camp Wachusett Fifth Annual History night at Lake Hortonia 

Date: August 29, 2026 

Where: Dining Hall, Camp Wachusett for Boys, 1430 Camp Road, Sudbury

Time:  5 to 6 pm, followed by the pot luck starting at 6

Speakers will talk about the Youth camps on Lake Hortonia.

Phillip Williams (Present director of Camp Wachusett)

Jeanette Lampron (her relatives worked at the camp that use to be at the Green Mountain Village) name was Camp Wanee.  

Walking Tour of Camp Wachusett led by Phil Williams will precede the talk at 4 pm

6 pm is the Community Pot Luck.  All are welcome.

Please bring your own drink, silverware and plate and something to share with folks.

This it is always a very successful time for us to meet our great friends who are on or around the lake.

#2 Wenda Bird about the Lake Hortonia store and Bill Barnard about the Vermont State dam that is located on the west shore of our lake.
